The legal office provides legal assistance to individual Clients, entrepreneurs and institutional Clients. This includes, i.e. representing the Client in in-court and out-of-court proceedings, providing legal advice, drawing up and reviewing agreements, as well as participating in negotiations. The service is provided for both persons and entities whose place of residence or headquarters are on the territory of the Republic of Poland or abroad.

Legal assistance is also provided in English and Italian.

Areas of practice

Civil law, including contracts

Full legal service in the field of broadly understood civil law includes providing legal advice and representing Clients in in-court and out-of-court cases. The legal office conducts, i.e.  cases for protection of personal rights, payment (including electronic writ of payment), protection of property, abolition of joint ownership, eviction, easement, matters related to renting, mortgage register, security and execution proceedings.

The legal office also deals with compensation claims in respect of traffic accidents, medical errors, delayed or cancelled flights, and in other cases where the insurer refuses to pay assumed benefits.

In addition, taking the interests and security of Clients into account, the legal office prepares and gives opinions on civil law agreements, commercial agreements, settlements and general terms of agreements.

Family law

The specificity of family matters requires not only knowledge, but also sensitivity and understanding. Legal assistance in this area includes representing Clients in court and extrajudicial proceedings (including enforcement proceedings), conducting negotiations, providing advice, i.e. in cases of divorce, separation, establishment of property separation, division of joint spouses’ property, settlement of contacts with children or grandchildren, limitation or withdrawal of parental authority, determination or denial of paternity, alimony, and matters related to guardianship and custody.

The law of succession

Comprehensive services for succession matters, both at the judicial and extrajudicial stages, are on offer by the legal office. It also participates in negotiations between disputed heirs and strives for an amicable solution to family dispute. Advice in this field also covers issues of future inheritances and successions.

Labour law

The office provides legal assistance for  employers, as well as employees. This assistance concerns preparation of employment agreements and non-competition agreements, preparing internal documentation (regulations, statutes, resolutions), conducting negotiations and representing the client in court disputes.

Legal aid for foreigners

The legal office also provides legal assistance to foreigners residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland, within the scope of i.e.: Legalization of stay, obtaining work permit, setting up and running a business activity and related matters. We represent the Foreign Client before the court of law and before enforcement and administrative authorities.

Consumer law

Legal advice in the field of consumer law is provided for both consumers and entrepreneurs, that is: providing advice, drawing  up model agreement, the regulations governing provisions of services by electronic means, taking into account applicable laws and the register of prohibited clauses, and representing the Client in complaint proceedings before the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

At the Client’s request, trainings are conducted, in particular, in the field of distance and off-premises agreements, consumer rights protection and complaint proceedings.

Intellectual property and competition law

Legal assistance is offered by the legal office in the area of intellectual property law, including copyright law, press law and industrial property law. Furthermore, Clients are provided with legal consultation in matters related to patents, trademarks, utility models and copyright protection.

Moreover, the legal office provides representation in negotiations and court proceedings, i.e. in disputes related to press publications (infringement of personal rights or journalistic liability), industrial property rights (including registration of marks/designs covering the European Union, i.e. at the European Union Intellectual Property Office) and issues concerning protection of competition and  unfair competition.

Economic law

For business entities, comprehensive legal services are on offer which range from consultations in the selecting of the most advantageous  form of conducting business activity, through establishment of companies and its transformation and merger, up to the liquidation of activity. Cooperation with tax advisors ensures comprehensiveness of solutions offered to Clients.

Within this field, the Legal Office prepares and issues opinions on agreements, founding acts, documentation regarding shareholders/board/supervisory board meetings etc. It also deals with the registration of entities and the preparation of changes in registers.

Herein, in depth legal assistance (in English or Italian) is provided to foreign-language entrepreneurs  having their registered office both in Poland or abroad.

Commercial law is also a representation of the Client in negotiations, court proceedings, including liability of members of the management board for the company’s obligations and before other institutions and bodies.

Administrative law

The legal office represents the parties before administrative courts and administrative bodies with regard to the drawing of motions, complaints, appeals against decisions, as well as requests to resume proceedings.

Debt management

The legal office provides a full range of services and assistance at every stage of debt collection (amicable, judicial, enforcement). Receivable management also includes drafting and issuing opinions on assignment agreements, motions for declaring bankruptcy, filling receivables and securing receivables.

At the Customer’s request, trainings are conducted in the field of receivables management in the company, preparing documentation and in undertaking activities aimed at minimizing the risk of subsequent judicial recovery of receivables.

Criminal law and offences

The legal office provides the Client with defence in criminal cases and offences. As well as  representation of the Client-harmed by a crime or offence at every stage of the proceedings before the court and law enforcement authorities, building a strategy for conducting the case, providing advice and drafting letters.

Legal Service for company

This form of cooperation is addressed both to entrepreneurs, companies and institutional Clients (e.g. local government units and their organizational units, foundations and associations).

With regard to permanent legal protection, the legal office provides, i.e.  legal advice, preparation, analysis and negotiation of agreement terms, participation in the meetings of company bodies and debt collection. It also provides assistance and solutions to potential employer problems in the field of labour law, or in other fields – depending on the individual needs of the Client.

Permanent legal service is also addressed to business entities having their office registered outside the Republic of Poland.
